March 18, I noticed that one of my toe nails went blueblack…last week, around April 18… This was what happened…

I felt something tersangkut some where down there at my toes. I found that my t103_1053oe nail was tersangkut on my blanket la, bedsheet la, this la that la…sigh… So I decided to PULL it out!!! Don’t scream yet!!! Because I failed to do that… I was scared too, hahaha… The most I did was till shown in this picture. Then I took my sharp scissors from my manicure set, slowly and carefully I cut the edge of my toe nail that was still attached to my skin… don’t worry, it wasn’t painful at all.

I feel sort of a wierd accomplishment after I hage cut it out, hahahaha, so that is how my toe nail looks now in the picture here… but there are no more dry blood stain on it now. YAY toe nail!!!

Eloi, Eloi, Lama Sabachthani? (Matthew 27:46)

Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

1_1He was a carpenter, a carpenter’s son, son of Joseph (John6:42), a Jew (John4:20), a Nazarene, a good man (John7:12) a teacher (John8:4), a master, a Rabbi (John1:49), a prophet (John4:19), a decedent of King David, King of Israel (John1:49).

2 He is now known as the Lamb of God (John 1:29), the Holy One of God (John6:69), the Lord (John11:27), the vine (John15:5), the Bread of Life (John6:35), the healer (John5), the bridegroom (John3:29), the Messiah (John1:41), the Saviour (John4:42), the gate (John10:9), The Word of God (John 1:14), the Good Shepherd (John10:11), the resurrection (John11:25), the Way, the Light and the Truth, the Son of God (John 1:49), Son of Man (John 5:27), the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords

3 I.N.R.I. was the accusation… "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" (John19:19), written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek (John 19:20)… It was indeed a Good Friday…He was crucified in between two sinners at Golgotha (in Aramaic, meaning, place of the Skull) but what sin did he committed? Even on his last hours he was tested… "Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" (Luke 23:39).

4 Nails were driven into the flesh…innocent blood flowed …yet he said…"Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." (Luke23:34) A loyal son who once so scared that he asked the Father to take away his final task on earth, the reason he was sent here… But, all these were asked to be done according to the Father’s will but not his own will. He knew why he was put into the situation. He knew where he was led to.

5 Eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani! [My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"(Matthew27:46]  That was what he said while hanging on the cross … but his last words were "Father, into thy hands I command my spirit…" still, he submitted himself to the Father’s will despite his weakness.

POINT 1-  50 years of Independence?Dscf6097

The government  is busy promoting Malaysia (Visit Malaysia year 2007) in accordance with our so called 50 years of Independence. This issue did not bother me at all for the past 28 years. I think I was too lazy to count but this year, 50 years, easier to do the subtraction or addition so I was confused for the first time…

Before this, I do remember that we were reminded of year 1957 on Aug 31st but this time when I actually counted it myself…and recalled what I studied in school… anyone know what I am trying to say here? Never mind… I am gonna say it anyway and I doubt people remember such insignificant FACT…

Aug 1957, Tunku Abdul Rahman, stood at Dataran Merdeka, shouting Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Declaring Independence in MALAYA. yes, It was Malaya, NOT Malaysia. When did the name Malaysia came about then?? It was clearly stated in both the websites below and in our secondary school text book that MALAYSIA is formed in 1963 when Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak joined Malaya. Sadly, Singapore was "expelled" in 1965 but, we, remain as Malaysia ever since.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia

So, if we really call ourselves educated, 2007-1963 should come up with 44 as the answer. I am not sure why 50. I don’t mind at all if Peninsula Malaysia want to celebrate its 50th year of Independence but please DO NOT USE MALAYSIA in your celebration because there are MORE in MALAYSIA. Do not forget us, Sabah and Sarawak. We are also part of Malaysia and we did not get indenpendence until 1963. What makes the Federal Government forgot about us?

It is just so hard to accept the fact that the government forgot about us…How can that happen? Even though just 2 states, we are so much bigger than all the other states in peninsula and we contributed so much to the economic of the country! WHAT ARE WE? As an East Malaysian, I really feel hurt. Hurt that my existence is not ACKNOWLEDGED by the government. (dah la we are the minority). How can I develop the patriotism in me?? How can I LOVE my country when my country does not acknowledge my existence?

One thing that surprises me is, there were no complains at all from the leaders of these 2 forgotten states… what is the problem with people?? Too proud to admit that they cannot count?? For the sake of UNITY, AMEND it DAMN IT! It might be small matter for some people but the fact is the fact!At least explain to the people why 50…there are a lot of people who can count in the country…maybe some just don’t care… Any government would LOVE unity in the country. Why would anyone put the unity at risk for such a small matter?? what is it behind the "50"?

Fact 2-  Who are Malaysians?

From both the links above, we can roughly know who Malaysians are or at least, they are enough for my point. This issue is addressed for those who are very very really weak in their general knowledge about Malaysia. When I think about it, maybe this is also the reason why no one say a word about the previous issue, because they did not realise that Sabah and Sarawak are PART of MALAYSIA too!

I have encountered this numerous times but yesterday, a lady (in her 40s), talked to me and I told her I am going to Sabah soon for good. She said," Oh, you don’t want to stay in Malaysia anymore ka?" I was so ^%#*@$&# but I know it is useless to explain… or maybe next time I should try explain. Have they ever realise that Sabah and Sarawak is of Malaysia too?

God! Are we considered ALIENS (as Americans put it) all this while?? We are just from much BIGGER state compare to all those in peninsula and further from the rest… but we are still of the same country dear all countrymen…:(

Couldn’t help feeling like an outcast, a forgotten….the left outs… Did we really had our independence? Does anyone know about us? One of the nastiest feeling is to exist in people’s non-existing world.

Unity…That is what all the leaders hope for their country…Think about it you leaders out there… Just think about it…

My Cousins

Sunday, April 8th, 2007

102_0580_1As year pass by, my favourite cousins also change. Usually I like my younger cousins better than older ones. During recent Chinese New Year, I took a lot of pictures of my favourite cousins. These two cousins of mine are twins. Surely they are my favourite because they are the first pair of twins in our family history!!

These two angels has the sweetest smile a kid can ever have. Both have dimples102_0517 when they smile. The boy has big round eyes while the girl has a more Chinese-liked eyes. Both has the thin lips that I like. Though they are just 4 years old, they know a lot of things like most kids nowadays does. Quite mischievous at times, emotional and even mood swings!!

I had a friend visited me right before Chinese New Year and we taught these two102_0535 kids a different way to play with the balloons. They were so excited about it and screaming in their high-pitched voice when the balloons bounce on and off their palms. It was fun playing with Auntie Li Pin, hahahaha

102_0623On the first day of Chinese New Year, the boy fall sick. He had a fever and refuse to eat. The night before he was sleeping in the living room accompanied by his loving father. A father who always put the family in the first place, who works hard to provide for the family and a father who is so sensitive to the children’s needs.
